Resume Generator
The Resume© application combines all the information an entertainer enters about his/herself on his/her profile and generates a clean, organized, generic resume displaying that information; this includes the user’s Membership Type, Emphasis, Goals, Bio, Experience, Web-Links and Booking Info.
With the SpotLight Resume, you can simply Click, Print, and GO. Produced in a simple text and JPEG format, SpotLight Resume’s allow you to quickly print an entertainer’s info without the hassle of waiting for the printer to buffer like larger files.
Membership Types
At SpotLight, members are identified by their Membership Type, which is the type of entertainer they are. Once selected, a Membership Type is displayed at the top of the user profile. Users have the option of selecting from the following Membership Types:

Activity Feed
Our activity feed keeps your members up-to-date with what their friends or the community has recently been up to. Designed to work similar to Facebook's Live Feed.

Blogs
Members can share their thoughts and insights by writing blogs to share with the community.

Photos
Members can upload photos to a public gallery or to their own set of photo albums. While uploading photos members can decide the privacy level of who can view their photos online.

Music
Musicians can upload and share their songs and put them into albums and control the specific genre they are in. Members can listen to these songs/albums and add them to their own profile.

Music Downloading
Music Downloading (Pertains to Musicians only): We have upgraded our music application to allow other users to download your songs . If you do not want to allow downloads of your music, simply scroll over the Music tab, then My Albums. Select one of your albums, and go to Album Info . Uncheck the “Allow to Download” box and click Save.
To upload new songs, scroll over the Music tab, select My Albums, and select "Create New Album" or "Upload" for an existing album. After creating the album, select “View/Upload Songs”, and then click Upload Song.
Music Sharing via Facebook (Pertains to Musicians only): LAspotlight now allows your fans to play your songs straight off their Facebook feed when you post their links. Like YouTube, SoundCloud and other media posts, LAspotlight music links are identified as playable songs on Facebook and displayed with a large “Play” button when posted. This allows your fans to play your music immediately without having to leave their Facebook page.
In addition, LAspotlight music links posted on Facebook display a “Download” link below the song, directing your fans for easy navigation to a download page for your music.
RSS & Social Sharing
The ability to share information with others is very crucial today and we provide RSS and social sharing to members so they can spread site content across the net.

Moveable Blocks
Users can have unique profiles and the best way to accomplish this is giving them the ability to move the blocks found on their profile to anywhere they want by simply dragging and dropping them.
Account & Privacy:
We have grouped all the important privacy and account settings in a convenient location so your users can easily control these settings at any time with ease.
General Management:
When users need to update their account they can visit their "Account Settings". This will allow them to change all of their important information from the one location.
Notification Privacy
Users have the option to receive notifications via Email and Dashboard, or only the Dashboard. Notifications on the Dashboard are displayed on your homepage when you log in. Users have control to allow or deny the following notifications: *New Comments *Comments for Approval *Forum Subscriptions *New Friend *Friend Request *New Messages *Receive Newsletter
Profile Privacy
Within the "Privacy Settings" page users can control the privacy for their profile and any item connected to it. Each privacy section can have one of the following options:
*Anyone (Anyone can view the item)
*Network (Only members of the site can view the item)
*Friends Only (Only their friends can view the item)
*No One (Nobody can view the item, except for the owner of the item)
