Laspotlight.com was founded by its President/CEO Ori Simon and maintained by Senior Executive VP Keith Wilson as a subdivision of his organization MRM Management, which serves as an event planning, promotion, and artist management group working with talent in the local LA area. As projects, goals and clients accumulated for the MRM Management team over time, it became clear that the most efficient way to exist was to let the artists manage their own media. Shortly after, Laspotlight.com was founded and crafted into what it is now today- an invaluable tool for entertainers. Laspotlight.com exists as a means for entertainers to both network with other entertainers and display their media for public and well as the executive world to see.
Our belief in the spotlight program stems from the true core of networking, which is socializing with others that share common interests in order to mutually expand or attribute to each other's success. Therefore, when defining the true reason for spotlight’s success, it is important to recall 2 things:
1. The Element of Integration
Each SpotLight entertainer represents form of leadership, which influences the fans that follow him or her. Consequently, when one entertainer brings his or her fans to the site, those same fans can become fans of other entertainers due to the pooled exposure.
2. All Entertainment is Inter-Connected
By logic; all fields of entertainment are guaranteed to encounter each other at some point throughout a program or project.
